Know Your Rights: The New York No-Fault Trap for Riders

New York has no-fault PIP, but motorcycles are excluded from it. A car driver gets medical benefits regardless of fault. You do not. New York also uses pure comparative negligence, so even a partial-fault crash is worth pursuing. Carry underinsured motorist coverage.
